Un cuerpo infinito [An Infinite Body]
SOBRE LA OBRA
Olga Pericet’s latest show is a journey of physical and spiritual self-knowledg that focusses on the legendary figure of Carmen Amaya. Thinkers in movement and thinkers about movement are conjured to explore the enigma. Bodies go beyond the official myths in search of the great astral body of Amaya, reshaping the love of dance and confronting one’s own reflection: the passage of time, pain, disappearance. Pericet once again works with the stage director Carlota Ferrer: together, they enjoyed considerable success with the show La espina que quiso ser flor o la flor que soñó con ser bailaora [The Thorn that Wanted to be a Flower, or the Flower that Dreamed of Being a Dancer].
