Olga Pericet and Daniel Abreu join forces in “La Materia” (“Matter”), the second installment in Olga’s trilogy of standalone pieces that take their inspiration from the work of renowned luthier and father of the Spanish flamenco guitar, Antonio de Torres. Building on her previous show, “La Leona” (The Lioness), Olga Pericet says of her latest creation: “I’m always pushing myself to new limits, exploring the ideas of new challenges and new beginnings, evolution and transformation. I study the instrument, the animal, from outside and in. From its very beginnings, when it was made. I’m inspired by its beauty and balance.”
From La Fea (“The Ugly”) to La Leona (“The Lioness”) and now onwards to La Invencible (“The Invincible”).
