La espina que quiso ser flor o la flor que soñó con ser bailaora [The Thorn That Wanted to Be a Flower, or The Flower That Dreamed of Being a Dancer] is a gallery of dramatic games in which the woman always appears powerful in a miscellany of sculptural images and transformations, in which she moves between happiness and bitterness, seclusion and lascivity, youth and decrepitude. The music frames everything in a pure becoming of song, rhythms and castanets.
